Medvedev fired Aristarkhov

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev ordered to dismiss Vladimir Aristarkhov from the post of First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.

“To dismiss Aristarkhov Vladimir Vladimirovich from the post of First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation at his request,” TASS quotes the order of Medvedev.

Vladimir Aristarkhov (b. 1969) was appointed First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation in May 2013. In this post, he directly coordinated and controlled the activities of the Department of Science and Education, as well as issues of informatization of the cultural industry.

Earlier, Aristarkhov was a deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, an adviser to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation and the director of the Department of Control and personnel of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
