The arrest of two Crimean Tatar entrepreneurs was extended in Moscow

On June 20, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow extended the arrest of two Crimean Tatar entrepreneurs, Resul Velilyaev and Ali Bariev. about this on Facebook . wrote Lawyer Dzhemil Temishev

Bariev and Velilyaev are charged under part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code (storage of products that do not meet the rules for the safety of life and health of people). The term of detention was extended until 25 September.

According to journalist Liliya Budzhurova, the reason for criminal prosecution of Velilyaev was allegedly expired products found during searches in one of his grocery stores.

  • On April 26, the houses of the Crimean Tatars and the shops of the Krymopt and Guzel firms were searched. After that, Bariev and Velilyaev were detained, they were taken to Moscow. On April 28, the Basmanny District Court arrested the entrepreneurs. Velilyaev was transferred to Lefortovo.
