“The man I beat has not died. In intensive care, as I understand it. There is no guilt. Was he a bad person? This is personal, I tell you. If now such a situation was repeated, he would not have behaved so - he has learned from this a lesson and experience.
Where did I get this scar on my face? I was ten years old, we painted graffiti on the roof of nine -story buildings. The police rose there, and we realized that we had to dump. I opened the door and fell, flew a staircase, hit - and my head cut off. Was it the only “running” from the police? Of course not.
I grew up without dad. He left when I went to the kindergarten. Well, I don’t even want to know him. And I don't know anything. I really am not interested in how he lives. What is this father? The father will not leave his child.
Igor photo: Valery Zaitsev for TDAt thirteen, I worked at a construction site with my acquaintances - we needed money. It was very difficult. He also worked in security, was engaged in the repair of apartments, was an assistant to a specialist in a teenage youth club.
I met few good people before the center. In the center - a lot. Thanks to the center, I changed. To begin with, I did not study. In the eighth grade, we were told: “We put you three, take the documents and go anywhere,” and we stopped engaged in the whole class.
In the center, I was given the opportunity to graduate from school. At first, of course, I did not understand anything. The tutors were invited to me. I quickly grasp: the Mathematics course of the eighth and ninth grade passed in three months.
I got into a really strong class. There were guys who study on five, and I had to keep up with them. I will have four in mathematics, in geometry too. How do I know? I know my strength and where I made mistakes. No, I'm not proud of it. You can be proud of if there is a worthy job, family, housing. But mostly a family. If my children achieve something, I will be very proud of this.
I have an explosive character, I quickly heat up and cool quickly. Now he began to control himself a little. I work with psychotherapists, psychologists. And in ordinary life I will endure the skill, I use it. In general, the course in the center lasts nine months, I have already graduated from it, and on a campaign [the annual trip to the north of the pupils of the center. - approx. TD ] I go of my own free will. I want to see, see this beauty - there will be something to remember in life.
Could it be repeated what has already happened if a wave of anger covers? It will not be. I myself decided. Anger, rage and anger are weak emotions. Everyone can show them. And not everyone can love to love. I guess I can, I don't know. Well, certainly not a hatred to live. Before the center, before I decided to change, I lived only with this. Now I definitely do not live, has become calmer to relate to everything.
I am entering the automotive technician, collected almost all the documents. I wanted to go to the Emchees, but the problem is that I will come out, but they just won’t take me to work. And so I’ll go to the auto mechanic, I will get the rights, go to the army, get to work. I still do not think about higher education. Family? Wife. The child is one, maybe two. Three many. I want my children to have a normal childhood, a full -fledged family. I want to give them something that they did not give me. Anyone wants it. "
Igor for eighteen years, in the Center for Social Adaptation of St. Vasily the Great, he hit about nine months ago, as he himself says, for beating. He does not disclose the details of that story. He just passed exams for the ninth grade, and it is already known that for Russian he received 32 out of 37 points. For him, this is a great result.

Lev Schlosberg: “Children cannot be deprived of freedom” It took very little time to make sure: the system does not help adolescents, and in most cases destroys themAll the guys from this list are teenagers who violated the law. Basically, they get here by court order.
Employees of the Center are trying to change their lives. It sounds pathetic, but 85 percent of the guys who come out of here had no relapses. Behind each percentage is a personal story. Maxim graduated from the forestry Academy, every year comes on holidays to the center. Nikolai studies at the institute at the Department of Applied Arts and helps the center as a volunteer. Alexander married, his son was born. He served in the army, participated in a solemn parade on Palace Square in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory. Alexei works in a company specializing in IT technologies. He often comes to the center with his girlfriend.
With them, as with the current pupils of the center, social workers and teachers, psychologists were engaged daily. The guys live in the center, go from here to school, they are taken to theaters and museums, to exhibitions. Here they say that the belief that they can be different helps to change adolescents.
Assistance to adolescents who violated the law is not the most popular thing. But it is extremely important: we can help these guys move on in the right direction. And the more we will help the center, the less likely that one day in the Deep Court will stop us with any unpleasant personalities. Helping the center, we invest in our future security. You can sacrifice any amount - it will be spent on making a normal person out of the confused and confused by a teenager.
