In Volgograd - 11,291 rubles/day - this is 5 times higher than “normal” prices. In Samara, prices rose more than 4 times (16,000–25,000 rubles/day), in Kazan and Sochi - more than 3 times (17000-30,000 rubles). In the capital, the rental cost increased 2.5 times. The Airbnb service now offers spacious apartments in the center of Moscow at a price of about 100 thousand rubles. per day and higher, but you can remove the usual kopeck piece for 40-50 thousand rubles. And only in St. Petersburg, where a huge stream of tourists is observed year-round, prices remained at the same level.

However, such appetites of landlords are not always satisfied. Onetwotrip experts came to the conclusion that tourists eventually rented less than half of all the rented apartments in Moscow. “During the days of matches, fans rented about 6.9 thousand apartments or 44% of the total options presented in online booking systems,” said Alexei Belousov, a new service manager.

According to the service, now 46%of all existing options are available in Moscow, in the remaining cities of free apartments remains even more: Saransk-70%, St. Petersburg-54%, Kazan-51%.

The prices that the Russians requested were too high even by the standards of guests who were ready to spend money.

So, 53% of the respondents during the survey conducted by Onetwotrip said they were surprised by the level of accommodation prices. And 28% of those who abandoned the idea of ​​spending the night in the city of the match noted that their decision was associated with the inability to book accommodation or high cost of available options. At the same time, 52% of the service users decided to reserve a hotel room. 28% plan to stop with friends and acquaintances. Only 15 respondents rent housing, and 4% decided to spend the night in a tent or car.

What to hide: many apartment owners hit the head of the opportunity to earn crazy money during the championship.

In Moscow, the treshka at the Spartak stadium was offered at a price of 150 thousand rubles per day. Earlier, the owner asked for even more - 200,000, but soon the price was reduced. Naturally, few can afford such expenses, and so far no one rented an apartment.

And a resident of Moscow Nina Abrosimova told the correspondent of “New”, as a month before the championship, the hostess invited her to free the room: “She told me only two words:“ You understand, poverty ”-and I realized that it was useless to argue.”

For a room in a communal apartment in the area of ​​Cao Nina, she still paid 21 thousand rubles a month. Now the hostess gives her to foreigners 5 thousand per night.

So in the case of the championship, the usual rule - the apartment will be cheaper - does not work. The hotel is often no longer cost: back in February 2016, the government set the maximum cost of hotel rooms in all 11 regions of matches.

But here not without surprises.

According to the portal 66.ru, the fans from Uruguay complained about the state of the rooms of the Bolshaya Ural Hotel in Yekaterinburg.

In the center of Kazan (Vakhitovsky district), for example, a 2-room apartment is rented out in a typical soviet style.
