A court in Chuvashia imposed a fine of six thousand rubles for cooperation with an undesirable organization on the coordinator of Open Russia, Anton Kravchenko. About this online publication “Idel. Realities,” said Kravchenko himself.

A protocol was drawn up against the coordinator of Open Russia in Chuvashia under Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (carrying out activities of an undesirable organization). The attention of the Novocheboksarsky City Court was given a video clip from the Internet channel IR TV, where Anton Kravchenko talks about the plans of Open Russia in Chuvashia for 2018.

The court invited Kravchenko only an hour and a half before the meeting, and neither he nor his lawyer Elza Nisanbekova could participate in the process.

In total, six protocols were drawn up for the coordinator of Open Russia on cooperation with an undesirable organization. On June 19, Kravchenko was fined five thousand rubles under the same article.
On May 21, the Leninsky District Court of Cheboksary considered the fourth case against Dmitry Semyonov, deputy chairman of Open Russia. A protocol was also drawn up against him under Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The court fined Semyonov six thousand rubles.
On April 26, 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office declared undesirable a number of organizations associated with Mikhail Khodorkovsky and registered in other countries. The list includes “Open Russia” (OR Otkrytaya Rossia) and the Open Russia Civic Movement (Open Russia) public network movement registered in the UK, the Institute of Modern Russia (Institute of Modern Russia, Inc), issued in USA.
