In Chelyabinsk, the prosecutor's office warned the organizer of the action against pension reform

In Chelyabinsk, prosecutors handed Aleksey Navalny's supporter Alexander Belyaev a warning about the inadmissibility of violating the law in connection with an action against pension reform. A copy of the warning is at the disposal of OVD-Info.

The action should take place on July 1 in the park named after D. V. Kolyushchenko, one of its organizers is Belyaev himself. According to Belyaev, the action was coordinated with the local authorities. The document notes that, according to the prosecutor’s office, an uncoordinated procession is planned at the end of the rally, during which “posters and other visual propaganda will be used containing materials that negatively characterize the activities of ... V. V. Putin and ... D. A. Medvedev.”

In connection with the warning, Belyaev sent a statement to the prosecutor's office with a request to provide verification materials.

• A draft law on a phased increase in the retirement age in the country from 2019 was submitted to the State Duma. The Change.org petition against the reform has so far collected more than two million signatures.
