The Russian artist-multiplier and author of comics Khikhus died

The Russian artist-multiplier and author of comics Pavel Sukhikh, known under the pseudonym Hihus, died at the age of 50. On the night of Saturday, his friend, writer Sergey Kuznetsov wrote about this on Saturday.

According to Kuznetsov, he fought with cancer, but did not talk about health problems publicly.

The artist Khikhus is one of the pioneers of the Russian comic book, the founder and ideologist of the festival of drawn stories "Commission". He was the leader of the creative group "People of Dead Fish", uniting artists and comic book authors.

One of the last works of Pavel Sukhikh is a series of animated films about human rights called Humra. In 2016, in a large interview for Radio, Freedom Hikhus said that this anthology will become the last social initiative of the artist in Russia.
