In dozens of Russian cities on Sunday, July 1, rallies organized by opposition politician Alexei Navalny against raising the retirement age are held. In 39 cities, supporters of Alexei Navalny performed the organizers or co -organizers of protests, wrote an opposition politician in his microblog on Twitter. The demonstrators took to the streets, in particular, in Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Orenburg, Krasnodar, Omsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk, Arkhangelsk, Navalny reports.

In a number of cities, the rallies are held by the Yabloko, Fair Russia, the Communist Party, the LDPR, the Party of Case, the Rostya Party, the trade unions and other organizations. Many demonstrators also oppose corruption among officials in the Kremlin, require the replacement of power and solving their individual regional problems.

So, in the Kurgan, after the action, three activists were delivered to the police, holding the layers of televisions in the hands on which the programs of federal channels were shown. In Saratov, two participants in the rally were detained, in Penza - one. In Moscow, a participant in a single picket against pension reform on Pushkinskaya Square was delivered to the police department. The most massive protest rally is in Omsk

One of the most mass shares was a protest in Omsk, in which, according to various estimates, 3-5 thousand people took part. In Chelyabinsk, according to the participants, about 2 thousand people went to protest. In most other cities, several hundred protesters entered the streets. In a number of cities, rallies were not agreed with the authorities, but despite this, there were no detentions.

Meanwhile, the headquarters of Navalny in Omsk said on Twitter that the city administration "drove buses to interfere with the rally." Then the activists said that the organizers of the rally Tatyana Nagibin from Yabloko and Igor Basov from the Parnas party “did not allow speakers from the headquarters (Navalny. - Ed. ), Despite the agreements,” and published a video with removal from the stage of the coordinator of the headquarters of Olga Kartavtseva.
