The first vice speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko called the names of those 23 people whom Kyiv is ready to give out Moscow in exchange for Ukrainian prisoners of Russia, as well as hostages held by militants in the occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine. It is reported by Ukrinform.
According to Gerashchenko, these are Russian citizens convicted or under court for the preparation of terrorist attacks in Kyiv, Kharkov, Ternopol, Kherson, Odessa or for participating in the war in the east of Ukraine on the side of Russia and militants.
In particular, the defendants in the list are the Russian corporal of the contract Viktor Ageev and Evgeny Mfedov, a participant in the pro-Russian rebellion in Odessa on May 2, 2014.
Along with other defendants, the former Ukrainian military from Crimea Maxim Odintsov and Alexander Baranov were also mentioned, who, after the annexation of the peninsula, changing the oath, switched to service in the Russian army.
Some persons included in the list have Ukrainian citizenship. Meanwhile, article 25 of the Constitution of Ukraine prohibits the issuance of citizens of the country to other states.
On the other hand, Ukrainian journalist Olga Reshetilova, commenting on the list of Gerashchenko, noticed on her FB page that he could be supplemented by a number of surnames. She mentioned several militants from the east of Ukraine, the Crimean deserter Taras Sinichak , the pro -Russian propagandist Kirill Vyshinsky, the captain of the Crimean Seiner "Nord" Vladimir Gorbenko, the former "Minister of Health" of the Crimea Peter Mikhalchevsky , the Crimean collaborator Elena one -wave .
“That is, if you finalize the list proposed by Gerashchenko, it can include at least 30 persons,” Reshetilova said.
Gerashchenko on June 23 made the initiative of the exchange of 23 prisoners in Ukrainian pre -trial detention centers and colonies for all Ukrainians held by Russia for political reasons. However, the specific names of the defendants in this list were still not called.
