Mitrokhin withdrew the lawsuit against Yabloko

The head of the Moscow branch of Yabloko, Sergei Mitrokhin, withdrew his claim to the party, which filed after the abolition of his nomination as a candidate for the election of the Moscow Mayor, Interfax reports.

Mitrokhin’s lawyer Ilya Gatikoev said in court: “Today I received an email from my principal in the morning, in which he asks me to file a request for the recall of my claim, since it does not gain the number of votes of municipal deputies who will allow him to register in the elections.” The defendant did not object to the satisfaction of the request of the representative of Mitrokhin to recall the claim.

Recall that according to the results of the primaries, Mitrokhin took only the second place, but the winner Yakov Yakubovich took his candidacy in favor of Sergei Mitrokhin. The party leadership nevertheless refused to nominate Mitrokhin. Despite this, the Moscow branch of Yabloko put forward the candidacy of Mitrokhin, and he submitted documents to the Mosgorisbirkom. The federal party bureau canceled the decision of the Moscow branch on the nomination of Sergei Mitrokhin to the mayors of the capital, since his candidacy was not previously agreed by the bureau.

On June 26, Mitrokhin announced the filing of an administrative lawsuit, in which he displaced the decision of the Bureau to withdraw his candidacy. Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow suspended the execution of the disputed decision. In response, the Yabloko party filed a complaint with the Moscow City Court of this decision.
