In the lobby of the rehabilitation center, where the treatment is now undergoing a gathering, there is a white piano. The nurses twice tried to bring the girl to him, but from her own helplessness she immediately began to howl with a beluga, and she was hastily led away. Zvarta promised to herself that she would suit the instrument only when the fingers again began to obey her. To do this, every day she sets up her body again as a musical instrument - each string separately.
Zvart photo: Vladimir Averin for TD“Everything must be studied, as in childhood,” sighs Svart. - I am learning to hold a cup and a spoon. Tie laces. Walk. I know everything and understand that they left my brains, but this body is not mine! ”
Everything happened on the most ordinary working day. Zvarte fed her home breakfast, gathered her daughter to school, and she went to work at the Rostov Conservatory, and teach. All day my head was terribly hurt, but Zvarta did not attach any importance to this - I just drank a pill. Then the left side of the body began to become inexplicably.
"The sensations were as if I had come from the frost."
Right from work, the woman was taken to the ambulance to the hospital, made an MRI and fenced: “You have a tumor in the brain, fortunately, so far benign. You urgently need to go to the operation, otherwise you can die. ”
“At first I did not even understand. I did not believe it. I thought: Fuh, what nonsense, this cannot be, I’ll just get up and go to work again, my students are waiting for me. But I couldn’t go. ”
I could not go and perform at the long-awaited solo concert in my native Rostov-on-Don, which has been preparing for so long. It was supposed to be the premiere of the new program, but in that December it was not destined to take place. I had to urgently fly to the operation in Munich.
Zvarta is engaged in an exercise bike photo: Vladimir Averin for TDBefore the operation, German doctors told Zvarta in detail what they would do.
“They said that they would make an incision here, behind the ear, and remove some vessels. I didn’t understand anything at all, and it would be better if they didn’t tell me that. ”
Doctors warned: the operation is very complex, the consequences are unpredictable.
“They said that I could fly on airplanes and drink coffee, but this is all later, but at first it will be difficult and the body’s ability will have to be returned gradually. In fact, everything turned out to be even worse. It was terrible. I woke up after the operation and thought that I had no body. I did not feel it at all. ”
Zvarta again made an MRI and confirmed that the operation was successful. But in the fight against the disease, this was the very beginning.
“Every day they stroked me on the head and said: everything will be fine. I told them: I'm not a moron. Yes, I can’t walk, but I understand everything, so say it as it is. I am stubborn and I will accept any truth. I was told that I would walk. The doctor even swore to me in this because I got him, ”Svart smiles.
After a week in Germany, a woman returned to Russia. Here, long rehabilitation and the first shocks of treatment in her native country were waiting for her.
“Before getting here, I was lying in another rehabilitation center, only I do not want to say its name. They forbade crying there. Microphones were naked in the wards, and if the patient began to sob, sedatives were pricked to him and gave pills, after which he became drunk. It was impossible to cry. We put on a diaper, they said to lie and not stick out of the ward: “Be quiet, otherwise we will feed the pills.”
Zvart photo: Vladimir Averin for TDZvartet recalls that at first she could not even turn over in bed. As they put it, she was lying until they remember her. It is recognized that there was no rehabilitation in that center - neither simulators, nor care, nor banal human attention. She lost a lot of precious time, which she could spend on the necessary treatment.
But at that moment I did not have to choose - together with the family of Zvarta was left alone with a serious illness and an unbearable rehabilitation price. Help came unexpectedly.
Sister Zvarta turned to the Live Foundation with a request to extend rehabilitation. The answer came immediately. Employees of the Fund understood that in case of guts, it was necessary to act quickly. There was no time left for the collection of money, so I “alive” agreed with the clinic’s management to postpone payment, providing them with a guarantee letter. One course of treatment cost 315,630 rubles.
Thanks to the Zvart fund, they transferred to a good rehabilitation center, where it is now restored. A break in treatment is extremely undesirable: it can reset all past efforts.
Zvarte makes exercises for the development of fine motor skills: chooses a coin photo from cereals: Vladimir Averin for TDThe most heavy with the string of the body of the Zvarta’s body turned out to be the hands - after all, the whole life of the pianists is concentrated on the fingertips.
“It's about playing the piano yet. I even write like a chicken with a paw. Terrible, just terrible ... "
Hands do not obey, but Zvartat makes them move every day. Selects coins from a mixture of buckwheat and rice. The movements are still uneven, the fingers are trembling.
The tuner usually presses the key and listens for a long time ... Carefully pulls the string, ensuring that the sound becomes as even as possible. So Zvarta listens to hands to return their coordination. He stops, levels movement and puts a coin on the table.
“Doctors tell me that if the right hand is listened to, then the left will automatically begin to pull up.”
Zvarts Day is scheduled for daily and long training: a pool, hydraulic, a bicycle, classes with a speech therapist, exercises for fine motor skills and coordination of movements. She is earnestly engaged and does not miss a single lesson.

“No, it's bad. Very bad. Look how terribly the moose is painted. And I can’t paint small details at all. Hands seem to live separately! "
Zvarta learns to stand. She gets up from the stroller, which she calls the cart, and approaches the wall. Without crutches, only leaning slightly on the wall and holding his hands by the bed. Proudly says that she has never fallen.
“I want to immediately get up and run. I do everything to walk and start playing the piano again. This is my main goal. "
For guts, all life is concentrated on the fingertips. Mom, the head teacher at a music school, put her daughter for the instrument at four years old. Seventeen years of study and thirty -six years of life are given to music. Zvarta clicked contests like nuts, occupying prizes in different cities of the country. She gave solo concerts and taught at her native state conservatory. S.V. Rachmaninov. Pupils regularly call her and are waiting for their beloved teacher for classes.
“I have played my whole life before the illness. I recalled some beautiful melody, forgotten and began to tap the music on the back of the tango partner with her fingers. The husband joked: “Even when you go to bed, you play.” And now the music remained only in my head ... "
During the conversation, Zvarte actively gestures, and it seems that it fully controls the hands. But this is not so, and even the simplest exercises for fine motor skills are still given with great difficulty photos: Vladimir Averin for TD“Zvarta is an incredible perfectionist, a person who is always trying to achieve perfection in everything,” says Victoria Agadzhanova, director of the Living Foundation. - She stubbornly engaged in almost the limit of her capabilities. Of course, we are not talking about the game of piano, but the progress of rehabilitation is obvious. ”
The Live Foundation helps those who are usually very reluctant to help adults. It is believed that an adult will always cope himself, but this is not so. In our country, a successful outcome of the treatment of serious illness often depends on money. “Living” does not wait until the authorities give a quota for treatment or make a decision on treatment abroad. Employees of the fund act quickly and clearly, because they understand: to live, it is important every day. Thanks to their quick actions, Svarta and dozens of other desperate people managed to help.
Over the past year alone, the fund’s employees provided assistance to 115 patients and collected 29,815,700 rubles for their treatment, and even more were spent.
But without our help with you, “alive” will not be able to help those who need it. Please support the fund by any amount, or better subscribe to a monthly donation. Even 100 or 200 rubles matters when it comes to daily work to save lives.
