The judge of the Trans-Baikal Kraisud, Igor Lobyntsev , sentenced the 45-year-old resident of Chita Yevgeny Krasnoyarov on the basis of the jury verdict to a life sentence in a special regime colony with a fine of 50 thousand rubles in the case of eight murders and seven attempts made in the regional center and the suburbs in 2006-2016. This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

Lobyntsev also satisfied the civil lawsuits of the victims of Krasnoyarov for a total of 4.5 million rubles.

The defendant was charged with paragraphs “A”, “L” of part 2 of Article 105 (the murder of eight persons, including based on national hatred), part 3 of Article 30 - paragraphs “A”, “B”, “E”, “L” of part 2 of Article 105 (attempted murder of seven persons, of which one minor, generally hazardous way, including based on the motives of national hatred), as well as part 1 of article 222 (illegal circulation. weapons and ammunition) and part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal turnover of explosives).

However, “Zabmedia” transferred on June 29, the jury college called the motive of national hatred unproven. Thus, the paragraph "L" of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the accusations of Krasnoyarov was excluded.

At the same time, the jury recognized the defendant who did not deserve condescension, which gave the judge the opportunity to appoint him a life sentence.

Krasnoyarov himself did not plead guilty.

Preliminary hearings in the case were held on May 3. The trial on the merits, which began on the 28th day of the same month, took, including the discussion of the consequences of the verdict and the announcement of the sentence, 12 meetings.

In the early days of January 2014, in the regional center, the offender killed four shots from the pistol point blank at the site of Tajik, a seller of a fruit kiosk. Finally, in July 2016, in the courtyard of the house in Chita, Krasnoyarov, as a result of a quarrel, shot Roman Chipizubov from a biker pistol.

In addition, in July 2012, in Chita, the accused set fire to Molotov cocktails a private house of a gypsy family. When the tenants began to extinguish the fire, he shot them from a pistol. The owner of the house was injured in the neck, and his 11 -year -old daughter in his hand.

The TFR also charged with Krasnoyarov paragraph "B" of part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code (robbery on an especially large amount). However, in court this charges was not considered; Probably, the prosecutor’s office did not approve him and the investigation department had to exclude him from the case.

They detained Krasnoyarov in August 2016.
