Dear editors!
The time has ended with tests, exams, protection, and a new generation of boys and girls who thirsty knowledge is already approaching the walls of universities. In general, we only dream of peace. Nevertheless, in the scientific and educational field, summer is the time of vacations, calm. Patriotic citizens travel to the dachas, where they are engaged in the cultivation of agricultural crops, strengthening the food security of the homeland.
Of course, I will do so: I’ll touch in the country and I will cultivate cultures. I do not need Turkish shore, and I do not need Africa. I note, however, that cottages are not just an element of food security, but also an important sociocultural element of our life. Evening gatherings with neighbors are, so to speak, certain spiritual scrapers, holding us into a single people.
And since the next morning, after evening gatherings, it is not very handy of agricultural work, I have time to think about issues of state and public life, to conduct a deep analysis. Moreover, the general emotional background corresponds to the seriousness of the task.
But this year, the usual course of affairs was violated - in the most positive sense - the World Cup in our country. Dive -up crowds of fans flooded eleven Russian cities, including two capitals. The excellent organization of the tournament, joyful faces, communication between the peoples, despite all the features of this process discussed in the press, is a real holiday. A holiday that shame the foreign greyhounds that predicted all kinds of horrors to everyone who dares to visit our country.
The main, however, was the game of our team. A fantastic victory over the Saudis is 5: 0, the victory over Egypt and, finally, that I can’t name otherwise than a miracle in Luzhniki - a victory over Spain, a strong team that won the World Cup and the European Championship. We went to the quarterfinals!
What lessons can we learn from this, dear colleagues? We need to pay attention to the tactics that led us to victory. We spent most of the game in deep defense, we fought and held our teeth. And it was such tactics that turned out to be winning! No one believed in our victory, everything was put on the stronger ones, but we won.
And imagine what would happen if we tried to actively attack and go forward all the time? I think it would be an impressive failure.
I think the same is true in relation to science and scientific and technological development. Yes, we are inferior to leading countries in the level of research and financing of science, and some hot heads offer to run after them, to increase funding, in general, to compete straight.
I’m afraid that with this approach the situation will be as deplorable as in the case of trying to attack the game against the Spanish national team: not a hat on Senka. Therefore, I am convinced that we need to stay deep in the defense, not wasting in advance efforts and resources. We sit in an ambush, do not lean out, we are waiting in the wings, so to speak, a penalty series, and then we roll the victorious ball into the gates of the rivals.
No, I understand everything, the plan is good, but not fully thought out. In response to his presentation, a colleague was told by an ancient Soviet joke.
- What did Kutuzov become famous for?
- He lured the French near Moscow and waited for forty -degree frosts.
- How did Zhukov become famous?
- He lured the Germans near Moscow and waited for forty -degree frosts.
- And what became famous for Yasir Arafat?
- He lured the Israelis in Palestine and waits for forty -degree frosts.
Of course, you can scream, but a miracle in Luzhniki shows the only way for us to win over a more developed rival. And the details need to be thought out and modified.
In general, who is how, and I will intensively communicate with my neighbors in summer evenings, and in the morning - to work hard on breakthrough proposals for the development of a national science project. I hope officials will follow my example and will also work hard this summer.
