Ten years ago, on the night of July 4, 2008, in Minsk, at the memorial to the Hero City at a concert in honor of the Independence Day of Belarus, an explosion occurred, as a result of which 54 people were injured. The incident was classified under the article "malicious hooliganism."
During the investigation, more than a dozen oppositionists were interrogated and fingerprints were taken from almost the entire male population of Belarus.
Subsequently, Dmitry Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalev, who staged an explosion in the Minsk metro in 2011 and were shot in 2012, were found guilty of the incident.
