The Directors Club completed the second season of work

The nineteenth meeting of the club of directors was devoted to the current topic “Management and financial stability of the business”.

According to the end of the season, the meeting of the club of directors began with a vote for the topics of a new, third season, which after the summer holidays starts on September 28, 2018. The vote will continue in the FB group, the results will be summed up by the end of July.

The main block of the meeting consisted of performances of authoritative experts. The meeting was opened by Yuri Muravlev, the director of the audit, the head of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit office in Novosibirsk, in his presentation he presented a view of accounting from the point of view of an international company, which also works with Clients of Siberia. The speaker told what the main problems of the current management reporting model that use most businesses exist: information for making decisions is disparate, often irrelevant and opaque, blurred liability is present in business processes, and part of the operations is performed manually and rejoicing, which affects the speed and quality of information, which then forms the basis of management reporting.

The expert outlined the algorithm for the transition from the company's strategy to budgeting and forecasting, emphasized the importance of clarity of indicators, and the issue of choosing various approaches to management reports in various business sectors was actively discussed.

The general director and co -owner of the Siberian office of Intelev Group of Companies, Marina Gulyaeva, showed the value of managerial accounting for any owner, focusing the participants on three main reports for the director: a profit and loss report, a cash movement report and balance. The participants discussed that the reporting should be timely, which means that all processes in the company need to be built so that the data is entered promptly. The issue of integration of accounting and management accounting was also raised.

Svetlana Mamatova Svetlana (chief accountant of OJSC Sukhoi, a branch of Naz. V.P. Kochkalova) shared the experience of introducing managerial statements in the company, integration of reporting and spoke about the possibilities of strategic decisions based on financial statements.

The owner, General Director of Infosoft, Mikhail Pyaskovsky, shared cases of automation of management reporting in various business sectors and in various life cycles of the company, spoke about the features of accounting in Russia and further trends.

Features of managerial accounting in construction and production businesses, the importance of forecasting and budgeting in the light of management, commercial risks of the company - this was discussed in the speech of the director of the BFC Criminal Code Veronika Rasskazova.

Expert Vasenev Alexander (the owner of the company's innovative production "Fishery Meh") joined experts and speakers on the importance of managerial reporting, shared his own experience in the production of management accounting. In the discussion "Why not all companies conduct management accounting system?" Alexander emphasized the fact that the director of the company must “grow” to management reporting, he must himself realize the value of these processes for his business.

In general, speakers and experts agreed that management accounting affects the stability of the business, that it must be built in the company with an emphasis on the features of the business and the purpose of the director.
