The Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) denied reports on the application of force to Ukrainian Pavel Griba, convicted in Russia on charges of assisting terrorism. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the department.

The FSIN assured that upon receipt of the accused in the investigative insulator during a medical examination, "abrasions, hematomas, cuts or other circumstances" indicating the use of physical strength to him was not revealed.
