The mother of the sick child was accused of drug trafficking: she wanted to sell medicines for epilepsy to another family. But the buyer was Lieutenant Ivanov

The story is this: Ekaterina Konnova, the mother of six -year -old Arseny, who has an innate absence of the esophagus (he gets food through a gastrointestinal), who suffers from cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a number of other diseases, bought diazepam in microclisms for her son (the medicine relieves cramps, operates faster in enemas): 20 enemas of 1000 rubles. In Russian pharmacies, diazepams are not sold in enemas, so parents have to buy it either abroad or from resellers.

Arsenia took the House with a lighthouse hospice on the care of the House of the House, there you can get diazepam through the clinic for free in ampoules. The woman decided to sell the remaining five pieces of enema: without profit, for 3250 rubles. I placed an ad in the VKontakte group, where the same mothers sell medicines that were superfluous or not useful.

The buyer was found. A man named Denis suggested that Konnova meet at the Mira Prospekt metro. On June 18, she came to the meeting.

“As soon as I gave him medicines and received money, two police officers appeared,” Yekaterina told Novye.

- They said that I should go with them. I was taken to the Meshchanskoye police department, where they demonstrated that the bills received were swept. At the same time, the police stated that I was suspected of drug trafficking. And they behaved accordingly - as with a drug dealer.

The investigator of the Meshchansky district, Lieutenant of Justice, Ivanov S. A., decided to initiate a criminal case against the cavalry on part 1 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code.

“In order to realize her criminal intent, E. A. illegally stored the specified psychotropic substance with the aim of illegal sales for monetary reward, there are sufficient data indicating signs of a crime,” he said in a decision to initiate a criminal case.

On the day of the detention of Konnova, however, it was possible to convince the police to let her go home. “They still believed that I have a seriously ill son who needs my help around the clock,” she says. - I have no one to leave Arseny, my husband is not. The eldest son is 15 years old. ”

Despite the fact that the police were convinced that Catherine was needed for the treatment of her son, they did not close the criminal case.

“We believe that in the case of Ekaterina Konnova there is no corpus delicti,” says lawyer Yuri Manukyan representing the interests of Catherine. - To initiate the case under article 228.1, a direct intent to sell psychotropic substances is needed. That is, Catherine had to realize that it was precisely the psychotropic drug. However, she clearly did not realize this, which is confirmed by the fact that she placed an announcement of sale in the open group “VKontakte” under her name, and then talked with the buyer by phone, which has been registered in her name for 15 years. That is, she really wanted to help another family, which is in a difficult situation. Moreover, the police themselves admit that it is impossible to obtain narcotic intoxication with this drug, it is not for this. Besides,

Catherine had no intent to receive benefits from the sale of drugs: after all, she bought them at a price of 1000 rubles apiece. And sold five enemas for 3250 rubles.

The children's hospice “House with a lighthouse” will send a petition to the defense of Ekaterina Konnova to the prosecutor's office of the Meshchansky district. Hospice officers also published a petition in which they are asked to stop the pursuit of the mother of little Arseny. More than 100 thousand people signed it per day. “Due to the fact that most of the forms of anti-epileptic drugs are not registered in Russia, parents are forced to illegally buy medicines on the forums from resellers, and then resell, and then resell if the child does not fit to buy the next medicines,” they write. “Parents do this to help their children, because it is simply impossible to watch the way of how your child writhes in convulsions, and the drugs that are in Russia simply do not work for a complex form of epilepsy.”
