The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined the chairman of the Moscow branch of the Yabloko party, Sergei Mitrokhin, 20,000 rubles for a solitary picket near the State Duma building. This is reported by Interfax.
Judge Olga Zatomskaya found Mitrokhin guilty under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the order of the action).
The politician was detained on June 19 during a single picket against raising the retirement age. The police officers who detained him referred to Presidential Decree No. 202 restricting the right to freedom of assembly during the World Cup.
