Mom and grandmother can hardly cope with the fidget. With such a hyperactive three -year -old, it would be difficult for anyone, but Larisa and her mother Galina are especially.

They are both thin, both have a short haircut. If you add up the date of birth of each, you will get the number eight, a symbol of will and strength. They both do not like melons and bananas. And they also have both cancer, and they fell ill at the same time.

Galina Georgievna from Kazakhstan. She raised Larisa alone. When Larisa left to study in Astrakhan, her mother went after. And then she collected her suitcase again when the daughter was invited to work in Samara. There Larisa gave birth to Matvey.

We decided to fight

And then Galina Georgievna began to hurt her stomach, she could not eat normally. The examinations began. By the time when they diagnosed the fourth stage, Galina had already lost thirty kilograms - she barely walked.

For all examinations, Larisa went to all hospitals and clinics with her mother. The neighbors remained with the child. Once, the doctor, examining Galina, offered to undergo a medical examination sitting next to Larisa. “I was not up to the examinations at all,” recalls Larisa. - Sick mom, little child. I was sewn up. But the doctors persuaded, promised to do everything quickly. "

During the examination, a cyst was found. Just in case, they asked to donate blood to the cancer markers. Larisa passed and forgot. And when once again she brought her mother to the doctor, she was given the results of the tests.

“It turned out to be not a cyst, but cancer, the first stage. I just dumbfounded, very frightened. But not for himself, but for mom and Matveyka. "

Mom noticed that something was wrong with her daughter, I had to admit. Dalled. We went to church. Hugged Matvey. We decided to fight.

Rest in the hospital

The time when they fought, Larisa recalls through tears - it was a nightmare. Galina Georgievna served the operation seriously. Strong edema, exhaustion, pain, intestines, from which the stoma was taken, did not even take pills. Mom lay at home without movement and said goodbye to life. Matveyka demanded attention and care. Larisa was preparing for her own operation and ran through the doctors. And, as luck would have it, maternity payments have ended.

“We lived on my mother’s pension, which she herself was not enough - she needed medicines, stoma care products, and focus,” recalls Larisa. - I could not earn extra money, there was simply no time and time. By the time I fell on the operation, I was already no. The exhausted to such an extent that she perceived the postoperative week in the hospital ward as a vacation. ”

Larisa first gave free rein to emotions after the operation when the doctor went to talk. He said that everything went successfully, but the form of cancer is aggressive. This means that he can return at any moment - and you will have to often be examined, always be on the alert, protect yourself and not be nervous. Do not be nervous ... how not to be nervous? Larisa burst into tears. But after discharge, I pulled myself together and began to look for help. I went to the authorities and found out whether some payments (not laid), sick leave from work (not laid), were laid to her, as her mother). I made myself disability pensions for myself and mother. She spoke about the problem of work colleagues and friends - they collected money for the Larisine family several times.

“All friends, classmates, classmates helped me. I studied a lot, in three educational institutions. My diplomas were not useful, but who knew that study would respond in another quality! Only then, I probably understood how important people around are. That you can’t count on the state, but ordinary people can. If something happened - they will save. "

"God punished us, but with mercy"

Galina Georgievna was restored very slowly. Doctors talked about the hospice, but from this word, mom and Larisa were horrified. And then someone told Larisa that there was another hospice in Samara, non-state. And Larisa went to look.

“I was immediately surrounded, listened and somehow very kindly, they promised to help humanly. And I decided to give them mom, ”says Larisa.

“When we drove up to the hospice, the whole brigade came out to meet me,” Galina recalls. - Three women, like three rays of light, stood on the porch and smiled. This hospice has only four places, I had a separate chamber, I lived like a queen. They called me “our sun”, can you imagine? Doctors! Now I even miss the hospice. ”

In the hospice, Galina Georgievna picked up drugs, provided care, psychological support and, most importantly, surrounded with human warmth. And when her mother returned home, Larisa did not recognize her: “She was replenished, could walk, was cheerful, even a blush appeared. It was incredible, they do miracles with people. ”

Against the background of the usual state hospice, where, as Galina Georgievna is expressed, they take “living corpses”, the work of the Samara hospice can be called a miracle. But the matter, of course, is not in a miracle, but in human terms. After discharge, Galina Georgievna took under the supervision of the exit service of the hospice. Now every week a doctor Elena Yuryevna comes to Galina: he brings medicines, care products - all that is necessary for which the lipatov family has no money. She copes of well -being, helps with caring for a stoma and simply talks with Galina as an ordinary person, and not as a doomed patient.

Looking at how the Hospice doctors treat their patients, Larisa asked to take control of her. Actually, she cannot be a patient patient. Cancer left, Larisa has remission. But she is very scared that the cancer will return and Matveyka will be left completely alone. Hospice doctors, having weighed the situation, made an exception for her.

Under the supervision of doctors, Larisa perked up, began to earn extra money at the Fair of Masters - to sell goods for needlework.

“Elena Yuryevna for us is no longer only a doctor, she is like a friend. Every week we are looking forward to her arrival, ”says Galina Georgievna. “You just feel that you are not alone, you feel care.” God punished us, but with mercy. "

“After the operation, both the doctors waved his hand on me and my mother,” says Larisa. - Health is normal, there is an appetite, the operation has been done - everything, live on yourself. And further it is still very difficult. I don’t know how we would live now without a hospice. ”

Larisa and Galina are still difficult. But they have support, there are a hospice who are nearby and who do not care. There is a favorite Matvey. Fear and pain are slowly leaving. Larisa grows hair that fell after chemotherapy. Recently, a relative fell through one of the hospice doctors, and Larisa gave her her turban, who wore, until there was hair. Larisa believes that he will no longer be useful to her.

Talking about her diseases both Larisa and Galina is very difficult. Too personal, too sick. But they tell, because they really want to help the Samara hospice, just as he helped them. The hospice needs money for medicines and hygiene agents, which patients later receive for free, and also for equipment for full work. We need money for material assistance to employees - the doctors of the hospital and the visiting service receive very little.
