Bakhchisarai Akhtem Mustafaev fled from Crimea after torture in the FSB

Bakhchisaraan Akhtem Mustafaev fled from the annexed Crimea to the continental Ukraine after last week he was tortured by the security forces from the FSB. This was reported by "Crimea. Realities" with reference to the coordinator of the Crimean Contact Group for Human Rights Abdureshit Jepparov.

Mustafaev, who worked as a personal driver, Safinar Dzhemeeva, the wife of the National leader of the Crimean Tatars, Mustafa Dzhemilev, was detained on the morning of June 28 at the Dzhemilev House when he drove the car. The security forces, Jepparov said , put Bakhchisarayz in their car and put a bag on his head.

Further, Mustafaev was brought to his own house, but they did not take out. All the time, while the search continued in his house, the Bakhchisaraan spent the security forces in the car with a bag on his head.

Visiters seized all the mobile phones and other electronic devices located in the house. At the same time, no documents, in particular the protocols of the seizure, were left to the family.

At the end of the search, Mustafaev was taken away. Lawyer Semedlyaev half a day unsuccessfully tried to find out his whereabouts. Finally, in the evening the lawyer said that the Bakhchisarayz was released. He did not specify any details.

As Jepparov said now, Mustafaeva after the search was taken to the Goroddel of the FSB. “He was beaten, tortured, terrible things were happening there,” the human rights activist said. The stolen was threatened: "You will be lost with us." Threats were also expressed at his family, in particular children.

Further, Mustafaev was taken to Simferopol. Whether he was taken to the Crimean head of the FSB, where Semedlyaev tried to find the abducted, Jepparov did not specify.

As a result, the Bakhchisarayz was released without giving any papers for signature. Mustafaev has no procedural status in the "extremist" case of the Mejlis, as follows from the report of Jeepparov. At the same time, however, the security forces warned the Crimean: "You and I will still see each other."

After the liberation, Mustafaev turned to the Crimean contact group for human rights, which helped him leave Crimea. “Further,” Jepparov concluded, “he will already tell what happened to him at all levels where he had to do it. Lawyers, lawyers will be included further, and active work will be carried out according to Akhtem Mustafaev to show the whole world that we have torture, and bullying here.”
