RBC: a court in Dagestan arrested the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Aliyev

The Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala arrested Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan Ramazan Aliyev, suspected of abuse of power (Article 286 of the Criminal Code), RBC reports , citing a source familiar with the investigation and an interlocutor in the court.

The head of Dagestan, Vladimir Vasiliev, dismissed Aliyev on July 4. On the same day , it became known that a search was being carried out in the Deputy Prime Minister’s house, and Aliyev himself was detained.

“Chernovik” wrote that the deputy prime minister was suspected of exceeding his official powers. According to the publication’s interlocutors, Aliyev, while still in the position of head of the administration of the head of the republic, “took from a private person” an armored SUV, which was driven by the former head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov.

According to investigators, Aliyev ordered that the car be serviced in a government garage. The damage caused by this was estimated at 18 million rubles.
