In an interview with RIA Novosti, the chief geriatrician (a doctor who helps people over 60), the Ministry of Health Olga Tkacheva, said that raising the retirement age is an “inevitable process”, and working pensioners, according to research, are better than the quality of life and less often contacting doctors. Most Russians oppose the planned increase in retirement age.
