In Belgorod, the court upheld the decision to reject the claim of Navalny's supporters against the police

On July 5, the Belgorod Regional Court upheld the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court to dismiss the lawsuit filed by the volunteers of Alexei Navalny's headquarters against the police. This was reported on the website of the Belgorod Regional Court.

Andrei Ruban, Yegor Rekalov and Dmitry Balabanov filed a complaint against the actions of the police, who detained them while distributing newspapers issued by supporters of Alexei Navalny. Initially, the court demanded that an application be filed not with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but with specific police officers. As Rubanov told the 7x7 portal, they were never told the police officers' details. Only the detective, who did not participate in the detention of the activists, appeared at the court session on July 5, and the court again took the side of the police.

• On September 16, 2017, volunteers from Navalny's headquarters were stopped on Cathedral Square, where they were handing out newspapers. First, the police told them that they were handing out extremist materials and demanded that they go to the police station. Then a man approached the volunteer, introducing himself as an employee of the “E” center, and took away one newspaper.
