North Korea expressed disappointment with the results of negotiations in Pyongyang with the participation of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. As stated in the State Agency of the DPRK, Pyongyang does not agree that the United States requires North Korea one-sided steps to dismantle a nuclear-nuclear program. The report said that the DPRK is still committed to the idea of refusing nuclear weapons, but the US approach does not contribute to the achievement of this goal.

Earlier, Pompeo called the two -day negotiations that he led in the capital of North Korea, successful. “We moved forward almost all the aspects of our discussions,” Pompeo told reporters on board the plane along the way from Pyongyan to Tokyo.

The representative of the State Department previously reported an agreement to create working groups that will solve specific issues. In addition, on July 12, representatives of the Pentagon will meet with North Korean representatives to discuss the repatriation of the remains of American military personnel who died during the Korean war in the 1950s.

It is reported that Pompeo, during his visit to the DPRK - the first after the meeting of Donald Trump with Kim Jong -un, did not meet with the North Korean leader.
