British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson resigns

Johnson has become the second cabinet member to resign in the last 24 hours as a result of disagreements with Prime Minister Theresa May over the UK's exit from the EU - the first to resign was David Davies, who was in charge of Brexit issues in the government (Brexit - the word is formed from Britain and exit).

However, Johnson's resignation is of particular importance: he was the face of the 2016 campaign, an active promoter of the UK's exit from the European Union, which was crowned with success as a result of a referendum in which a large part of the UK's citizens supported its break with Greater Europe. Johnson's departure indicates that May's cabinet is split, there are no easy solutions that would reduce the costs of Brexit, and politicians who are counting on a further political future prefer to leave the government now so as not to be scapegoats.
