An environmental activist was detained in Naro-Fominsk

In Naro-Fominsk, police detained journalist and environmental activist Denis Styazhkin as he was getting off the train. This was reported to OVD-Info by civil activist Sergei Ozhich.

Styazhkin is currently at the local police station. Ozic said that, according to the police, a crime had occurred at the station, and the journalist had received an orientation. Referring to the words of Styazhkin, the Activatica portal writes that in fact, an environmental action against the construction of an incineration plant was supposed to take place in Naro-Fominsk.

UPD 13:54 Styazhkin was released from the police department.

• Denis Styazhkin, Andrei Kiselyov, journalist and Nikolai Glukhin were detained on June 22 after a picket demanding the release of the defendants in the New Greatness case. Before being arrested, Styazhkin and Glukhin went to the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights, Tatiana Moskalkova, to write an appeal in defense of the defendants in the New Greatness case.
• On the same morning, on the way to Naro-Fominsk, eco-activist Tatiana Pavlova was detained at the Selyatino station . She was on her way to Naro-Fominsk to meet with other environmental activists. The police explained the detention by saying that the eco-activist looks like a woman who committed a robbery.
