The Kirovsky District Court of the city of Kemerovo appointed blogger Mikhail Alferov 160 hours of compulsory work for a video about a rally against deputy Aman Tuleyev, who had been the governor of the region for more than 20 years. The blogger himself announced the decision of the OVD-Info court.
At the hearing, Alferov challenged the judge and made several motions. The judge rejected them. The man was charged with a repeated violation of the rules of the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The court considered that in the video on YouTube, he urges people to come to an uncoordinated rally on July 1. The blogger pleaded not guilty.
Alferov was detained on June 29 and July 4. Then a protocol was drawn up against him. On July 9, the police detained him and took him to court, but the meeting was postponed.
