The bill on raising the retirement age will be adopted in the first reading without significant changes, but by the second reading, the age of women to retires can be reduced from 63 years to 60-61. This was reported by Interfax with reference to an unnamed source in the Federal Assembly.

“There is no final decision yet, and much will depend on the discussion of the document at the expert level,” the agency’s interlocutor added.

The possibility of reducing the retirement age for women to 60 years was confirmed by Interfax and one of the State Duma deputies, familiar with the course of work on the bill. He also did not exclude adjustments to the provision according to which men with 45-year-olds and women with 40 years of experience receive the right to retire two years earlier than established in the general case. “I know that the possibility of reducing these numbers is being discussed,” the deputy said.

The effectiveness of the bill was discussed on Monday at a meeting of the Presidium of United Russia, in which the head of the Ministry of Labor Protection Maxim Topilin took part. The official said one of the participants in the meeting, among other things asked, "what minus will pay sick leave - their increase should be expected."
