The Federal Tax Service sent to the Ministry of Finance a draft amendments to the Tax Code, simplifying access to private accounts of Russians. According to Kommersant, this will allow tax authorities at any time to request information about the movement of funds on the accounts of any citizen suspected of illegal entrepreneurship.
Now the Federal Tax Service gets access to information about accounts and payments only within the exit or desk verification. A desk audit is carried out after filing a 3-NDFL tax return. Exit inspections in relation to ordinary citizens are extremely rare and only by decision of the head of the tax inspectorate.
In the case of the adoption of amendments, data on the movement of funds for all private accounts will be loaded into the ASK VAT-3 ASK program containing data from registry offices.
In 2017, the Federal Tax Service checked 20 thousand companies and individual entrepreneurs and 774 individuals.
