The Presnensky District Court of Moscow imposed five years in prison and a 600 thousand ruble fine on the former deputy director of the Federal Agency for Special Construction (Spetsstroy) Alexander Buryakov, reports . Interfax
during the debate It was precisely this punishment for Buryakov that the prosecutor’s office requested . The former deputy head of Spestroy was found guilty of fraud of 450 million rubles under contracts for the construction and reconstruction of Ministry of Defense facilities (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code).
Buryakov was charged with three counts of embezzlement of money in Moscow and the Tver region in 2013–2015. He admitted guilt, his case was separated into separate proceedings and considered in a special manner.
The accused in the main case are the former first deputy director of Spetsstroy, Alexander Zagorulko, and businessman Kadyr Karakhanov.
