Excavations at the ground of possible mass executions will be entrusted to search engines with a dubious reputation

During repair work on reclamation ditches in the Alexander Park near the pavilion, Shapel GMZ “Tsarskoye Selo” discovered human remains. The law enforcement agencies and the leadership of the museum-reserve did not learn from the builders, but from visitors to the park who walked along the alleys-it was they who noticed the skull and bones that seemed from the ground.

- Here, in this ditch, the locals saw the skull, - Alexander Skrobach, a local historian, a member of the Russian Geographical Society, a resident of the Tsarskoye village shows a fragment of the excavated ditch, now laid with boards. - Those who saw him assure that there is a bullet hole in the back of the head.

Next to the pavilion, the chapel is the alleys along which the reclamation ditches are laid. During the repair of an old water supply, the remains of people were found in one of them.

GMZ "Tsarskoye Selo" suspended work, the remains were transferred for examination, but local residents and military search engines continue to sound the alarm:

The museum’s leadership entered into an agreement on examining this territory with search detachments previously convicted in concealing the remains of the aircraft, documents and orders found by them this spring on the Pulkovo highway, in fact, in looting.

Then, during the excavations, a downed plane was found from the time of the Great Patriotic War and the remains of the pilot. But, according to the military, the employees of the “height” and “wings of the Motherland”, who were attracted to work, did not transfer fragments of the aircraft, documents and the Order of the Red Banner to the military, received by pilot Viktor Black, piloting the downed plane to the military department. But the documents found by the search engines and the Order of the Battle Red Banner were found in one private museum.

Now, as the military and local historians fear, the same fate can comprehend the finds from the Alexander Park.

“In this part of the park there were heavy battles in mid-September 1941, when the German army occupied the city of Pushkin, and in January 1944, when the Germans receded,” says Srobach.

- But in these corners of the Alexander Park remote from housing and the museum complex, mass executions took place, including the Jews of the city of Pushkin, whom the Nazis destroyed in the early days of the occupation.

The residents of Pushkin are still sure that it was in the Alexander Park that the invaders arranged mass executions and that it was here that they brought in September 1941 a column of Jews - old people, women, children, about 800 people. Nobody saw them again. After the war, the surviving inhabitants of Pushkin recalled how they saw a column of Jews, whom the Nazis led through the Alexander Park - some believed that they were shot either there or in the Babolovsky park adjacent to it. But until today, large -scale search work has never been carried out in these places that would allow you to establish an exact place of execution and burial of almost a thousand innocent people. Only in 1991 in Pushkin, a monument was erected by the murdered Jews of the work of sculptor Vadim Sidur - the “formula of sorrow”.

Pavilion Shapel constantly appeared in Pushkin’s mythology as a possible place for mass executions. Deep ditches on both sides of the alley, almost two and a half meters of the depth, were dug here in the 18th century when creating a park. Now one ditch has been preserved, and the second is covered. And judging by the trees that grew on it, it was covered with it 70 years ago. It is strictly impossible to say that it is here that the executed are buried, but this is quite possible.

According to the scribbler, there can be several options for the origin of the remains: these can be the remains of soldiers of the last war or the remains of the residents of Pushkin’s inhabitants executed by the Nazis.

The option is not excluded that these are traces of criminal post-war showdowns or the “gangster wars” of the 1990s. In any case, the study of this territory is a state business.

As it became known to the “New”, the place was discovered in the place where the human remains were discovered, the youth policy committee recently recommended that the leadership of the Tsarskoye Selo GMZ conclude an agreement on examination with units that have already violated the rules and laws.

“It seems that the committee considers itself free from the implementation of federal legislation,” Igor Tkachuk, assistant to the head of the department of the military commissariat of the Kolpinsky district, is outraged. - We have already sent a letter more than a month ago that the “height” and “wings of the Motherland”, sent by them in the spring on the Pulkovo highway, violated the order of the Ministry of Defense No. 845, according to which all found objects related to the military time should be transferred to the military. And the committee again directs the same search engines for new excavations!

At the request to comment on the situation, the general director of the Tsarskoye Selo GMZ Olga Taratynova said that she herself learned about the post -fact, from the press and commenting on the situation. According to the director, the museum met all security requirements and conducted selective archaeological research. “There are no results of the examination yet, I will not comment on anything,” said Olga Taratynova.
