The “Left Front” in Yekaterinburg was denied approval for a rally against pension reform 80 times

The Ministry of Public Security of the Sverdlovsk Region 80 times in two and a half weeks refused to agree to the “Left Front” a rally against raising the retirement age. This was reported on the organization's page on VKontakte.

Activists filed notices to hold a rally at four venues that are allowed to hold rallies during the World Cup, but they were denied. The authorities referred to the fact that other events were being held in the indicated places.

“We methodically go to all places where, according to officials, other rallies should be held, notifications for which were suddenly submitted by unknown persons before us (although exactly 15 days in advance, as stated in the law and at exactly 8.30, when the ministry opens, no one except us I didn't give notifications, how they get to the officials before us is some kind of witchcraft). But not once did we find any rallies!” - the message of the "Left Front" says.
