The final position of the church on the authenticity of the "Yekaterinburg" remains will be formulated at the Bishop Cathedral. This, as TASS reports, told reporters by the press secretary of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Priest Alexander Volkov after a meeting of this higher body of the church administration, which took place on Saturday in Yekaterinburg.

"The topic with" Yekaterinburg "remains is considered in the working order by the relevant commissions. So far it is not on the agenda, since all the studies have not been completed," said Father Alexander.

“We are waiting for the final conclusions, which will then be presented to the next bishop's cathedral,” he added.

“The previous cathedral was not so long ago - last year, so it will be the next two years,” Alexander Interfax quoted Alexander as saying.

In connection with the centenary of the murder of a royal family in Russian society and the media, interest in the restoration of the details of this crime, in particular, the identification of human remains found near Yekaterinburg in the 1990s, again aggravated.

Investigator Nikolai Sokolov, who conducted an investigation in 1919-1922 in the territory, controlled by Kolchak’s army, came to the conclusion about the complete destruction of all the bodies of those killed in the Ipatiev House by burning.

In the early 1990s, a group of search engines discovered the remains near Yekaterinburg, which allegedly could be royal, in 1998 they were buried in the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg in the tomb of the Romanovs. Then another place was discovered by the alleged burial of members of the royal family - Porosenkov Log near Yekaterinburg.

Since the 1990s, the Russian Orthodox Church has adhered to the opinion of the lack of research and did not recognize the "Yekaterinburg remains" by the royal.

The Investigative Committee in September 2015 resumed an investigation into the circumstances of the murder of the Romanov family. An exhumation of the remains buried in St. Petersburg was carried out. In the framework of the criminal case, anthropological, genetic, historical and forensic examination is carried out. The Russian Church has created a special commission to study the results on studying the results of examinations, which are not yet completed yet.

In July 2018, it turns exactly 100 years since the execution of the royal family. The Russian Orthodox Church previously stated that it was impossible to rush with the investigation and confuse the announcement of its results to some significant dates.
