Metric will perform in Russia for the first time

On October 25, the Red Club in Moscow will be held by the first Russian concert of the Canadian Indie Rock of the Metric group.

According to the organizers of the concert, the Pop Farm agency, in the Red club "Together with the main hits, the musicians will perform a completely new material."

The Metric group was formed in 1998 in Brooklyn as a duet of a Songogiter and producer James Show and singer Emily Hines, and other musicians later joined them.

Metric released six studio albums, two of which reached a “platinum” status, the group won the Juno Awards and Polaris Music Prize , collaborated with Lou Reed, Mike Shinoda and other stars, and the composition of Eclipse (All Yours) is opened "Twilight. Saga. Eclipse".

In early 2018, the documentary “Dreams So Real” was released - Metric’s concert shot from 24 cameras. At the end of September, the release of the seventh studio album was scheduled, for the recording of which Metric was invited by the producer Justin Meldala-Jonesen, known for working with Beck, Nine Inch Nails, M83 and Paramore -his influence can be heard on the Dark Saturdy in July.
