After the collapse of the Kalya River canal in Severouralsk, which occurred on July 16 on the territory of the SUBR enterprise, local residents lost their drinking water supply.

The company undertook to eliminate the accident by July 19. On July 18, the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Evgeny Kuyvashev, ordered the urgent organization of an emergency supply of drinking water to local residents, promising to return it “as soon as possible.”

The demand for water has led to a rush at local stores. Local residents claim that bottled water ran out of retail stores yesterday.
