The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined Roman, who was detained during a protest against raising pensions, 1,000 rubles. He told OVD-Info about this.

The young man was charged with petty hooliganism involving disobedience to the police (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code). Roman was detained on July 18 on St. Isaac's Square when he began filming the actions of riot police during a rally. He spent the night at police station No. 1. In addition, the young man’s fingerprints were taken.

• According to OVD-Info, police detained 15 people because of the protest. Mediazona, citing Legislative Assembly deputy Boris Vishnevsky, reported 17 arrests.
