Employees of Center “E” in Yaroslavl detained a protest participant because of a poem on a social network

Employees of the Center for Combating Extremism in Yaroslavl detained a participant in the rallies, Alexander Orman, because of a Nazi poem published from his IP address. Orman told OVD-Info that he often opened guest access to his Wi-Fi router.

In the morning, the activist left the house and drew attention to the "Gazelle" with tinted windows, which was parked crookedly. Almost immediately, three people ran out of it and twisted Orman's hands. According to the activist, they “thrown” him into the Gazelle and drove him somewhere with twisted arms for about half an hour. The men did not introduce themselves.

Orman was brought to the anti-extremism department. There he was told that a "Nazi rhyme" had been published from his IP address in 2013. Employees of Center "E" read out a poem, showed screenshots and certificates from the provider. In addition, Orman was told that a group of a certain killer was created on VKontakte from his IP address.

Orman was asked to testify. In particular, he was asked who else lives in the apartment.

The activist claims that he does not have a page on VKontakte and has not published anything of the kind. According to Orman, since 2012 he has had a router, to which he often opens guest access, and “any taxi driver” could connect to the Internet. The activist suggests that what happened may be related to pressure on his brother: he is involved in another criminal case. Orman also clarified that he regularly attends protests.

According to Orman, after the arrest, he had abrasions on his forehead and under his eye.
