The Investigative Committee for the Yaroslavl Region was also excited: they made a case of abuse of authority with the use of violence, indicating the presence of “obvious” signs of this excess of IK-1.

A year ago, this very episode with the brutal beating of the prisoner Makarov was already the subject of verification of the UK. We recall, the case was dismantled by the investigator of the investigation department in the Zavolzhsky district of the Yaroslavl Radion Sergeyevich Svirsky.

The investigator Svirsky at that time was 22 years old. In May 2017, a month before the incident in the colony, he graduated from the Yurg Yarg and took the oath.

The young investigator did not fit formally. In his hands he had a statement by the lawyer of the prisoner Makarov and a detailed explanation of the most beaten. Then the investigator Svirsky interviewed the FSIN employees mentioned in the explanation and even sent two to check on a lie detector.

The refusal of the young investigator Radio Svirsky to notice the illegal actions of the employees of the Yaroslavl IK-1 was approved by Lieutenant Colonel Anton Morozov.
