The Moscow City Court upheld the punishment of 15 days of administrative arrest for four members of Pussy Riot who ran onto the field during the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, Mediazona . reports Meetings under the article on wearing uniforms (Article 17.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) are scheduled for July 25.

On July 16, the Khamovniki Court of Moscow sentenced the participants of the Pussy Riot action to 15 days of arrest with a ban on attending official sporting events for 3 years under an article on gross violation of the rules of conduct at official sporting events (part 3 of article 20.31 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Recall that four members of Pussy Riot, Pyotr Verzilov, Olga Pakhtusova, Olga Kuracheva and Veronika Nikulshina, ran onto the field in police uniform during the second half of the final match of the World Cup on July 15.

With their action, the activists demanded the release of political prisoners, as well as the termination of criminal cases for reposts and illegal arrests at rallies.
