The editorial director of the “Secret of the company” and the author of “Durov Code” Nikolai V. Kononov will conduct a course for how to write about the past:
“This is a workshop for journalists, writers, historians, anthropologists, sociologists, researchers and all those who are interested in the problem of memory in Russia. We will learn how to design and write an essay, story or book on a documentary basis in such a way as to make the story of deep, original and expressive. You bring a topic, material or idea, once a week we gather and discuss the projects of one or two participants-and we also analyze with invited guests-experts all the stages and nuances of working on a long text about the past. ”
Each occupation of the workshop participants will be helped by the invited guests, including playwright Mikhail Kaluzhsky , former editor -in -chief of Arzamas and Esquire Dmitry Golubovsky , historian and director of educational programs Inliberty Ilya Venyavkin , chief editor of the Secrets of the company Daria Cherkudinova , reporter and laureate of the Redacle Awards Ksenia Leonova , journalist Julia Dudkin , as well as a literature historian, chief editor of the Literature section Colta.ru Gleb Morev .
Seven classes on the site " Inliberty Dawn" will be held on Sundays from August 5 to September 16 . Each meeting consists of two parts - discussing specific topics, synopsis and texts of participants, as well as a conversation with a famous guest.
