Flashmob: I'M Lying There Crying

Any signs of attention and gifts do not cause joy if they are NOT FROM THAT person.

On July 22, a Twitter user under the nickname “Princess Copper” spoke about a boyfriend who, after reports of illness, brought her medicine and food, having learned in advance whether she was allergic to gifts. The only negative is that this is not the guy from whom the girl wanted such attention.

The tweet went viral, and commentators were divided into two camps: some supported the girl and noted that the guy was too intrusive, while others criticized her for “using” the young man.

Later, “Princess Copper” clarified that she explained to the guy several times that he was “not the one,” but it did not help.

But before the explanations, the girl’s message became the basis for a flash mob about the “wrong guy,” because of whose seemingly positive actions users “lie and cry.” The “wrong guy” brought whiskey and steak to some, vinyl records and films to others, and nothing to others.

There was also a version with Todd Howard, the developer of the video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which became a meme due to the huge number of devices on which it was released.

Some users tried to look at the situation from the point of view of the “wrong guy”.

Other bloggers replaced gifts with famous movie quotes.

The male part of the flash mob also appeared on Twitter, where they were talking about the “wrong girl.”

There are versions with other WRONG people.
