The procession passed from Mash Podlyaeva Street to Academician Sakharov Avenue, where a rally took place. The action was made by the Chairman of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov, representatives of trade union organizations, the movement of deceived equity holders, and other groups of social protest. The demonstrators demanded the resignation of Vladimir Putin and the government.

In St. Petersburg, according to Fontanka, the communist rally gathered more than a thousand people. The State Duma deputy from the Communist Party, a member of the Central Committee of the Party Vladimir Bortko, spoke to the rally. “Under Stalin, such people were called enemies of the people. Among other cities, rallies were held in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Novosibirsk, Saransk, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Perm. In Yekaterinburg, from 5 to 10 thousand people entered the action, about 3 thousand in Samara.

On Sunday, on Sakharov Avenue, a rally will be held against raising the retirement age and "tax robbery", organized by the Libertarian party.
