Yakutsk: A rally against pension reform was tried to disrupt unknown

Residents of Yakutsk joined the All -Russian protest against pension reform. About 70 people entered the rally. According to the correspondent "Siberia. Reali", mostly they were older people. He passed in the city center and was agreed with the authorities.

During the event, there were attempts to provocation. The action was tried to interrupt people who officially represent any forces, but having various kinds of requirements. Among the slogans shouted by them were: “Tell me that the International Monetary Fund is killing Russia!”, “We will not let the State Department put us on your knees!” And they accused the speakers on stage of "work under the dictation of the West." Despite their activity, they could not change the rally course.

The leader of the Republican branch of the Communist Party, Viktor Gubarev, told the publication that, in his opinion, the country's authorities "lost touch with reality", and promised that "the party supporters would rally as much as necessary to cancel the anti -people's law."

“What conclusion do we make from the initiatives of the federal authorities? What do not consider us for people and you can do anything with us? It is impossible to understand these initiatives in a sober mind. We are sent to statistics - the average age has grown, which means that the pensions can be raised. But the same statistics tell us that the majority of the population will simply not live to a new retirement age,” said Gubarev.

Civil activist Arthur Alekseev, who was speaking from the stage, said that the country's authorities are inconsistent in their speeches and public promises.

“For many years we were told that there will be no increase in the retirement age with this power. And that we see now? An increase in one form or another will clearly be, but on the air of federal television channels they are trying to convince us that this is a wise and right decision of the authorities. Who do they keep us for?” - said Alekseev.

At the end of the rally, his organizers once again promised the audience not to stop the struggle against pension reform.

Today in the cities of Russia, mass protests are held against pension reform. Earlier, the State Duma speaker said that protest shares will not help pension reform.

The bill, adopted on July 19 by the State Duma in the first reading, provides that the reform will begin in January 2019. By the end of its term, the retirement age for men will be set at 65 years, and for women - 63 years. Currently, the age of retirement for men is 60 years, for women - 55 years.
