Yakutsk: Residents of the suburbs went to a rally for clean air

On the territory of the Markh microdistrict, on July 29, a rally was held under the slogan “We have the right to live in a clean environment!”, Having gathered about 60 participants. The shares were attended by representatives of all aspects of the conflict. Those present were divided into two groups - employees of the Siberian pig farm and residents of Markha. In the hands of the inhabitants were posters with slogans: “We do not want to breathe shit,” “We are for clean air”, “We choose a healthy childhood, not the pork neighborhood” and others.

The resident of the march Vladimir Panfilov drew the attention of those present to the fact that even if everything complies with the standards according to the documents, the attitude of the head of the enterprise to residents of the village should not be disregard. "As far as I understand, those who work on the pig farm are quite happy with this smell. But it must be assumed that, apparently, the leadership of the complex is still to others, and this is manifested in this smell. We have repeatedly sent complaints to official instance, but only received unsubscribes in response. They cannot be called in a different way. I understand that production is associated with certain things, but they live here People, ”said Panfilov.

The director of the pig farm Vladimir Kabokhin listened to the claims of the inhabitants and took the floor. Its main argument - the pigkomplex exists in this place for 23 years and initially it was a point remote from Yakutsk, today it is its suburb. "I apologize for the inconvenience that we deliver. We have significantly improved waste work. We will export and utilize a large number of results of our work daily. I am ready to admit that we had a mess in this part, but today we put things in order." Kabokhin also promised that from October 1, 2018 the smell from the pig farm should disappear due to the completion of work to improve the environmental situation at the enterprise.

The head of the administration of Markha Mikhail Ivanov said that on the eve he personally visited the territory of the pig farm and already saw the signs that the management of the enterprise was interested in solving the problem. “I personally went throughout the territory and looked at the lake near the pig farm, which was supposedly polluted. I personally lowered my hand there and sniffed. There was no smell! Therefore, I propose to adhere to the agreements we reached with the leadership of the complex. Let's live together,” he concluded.

Employees of the pig farm tried to disrupt the rally, periodically they shouted phrases like "In Ukraine, too, it all started with this!" And obscene insults towards the protesters. Their leader was clearly inconvenient for them, and as he could, he tried to calm them down.

Despite the specific date of solving the problem voiced by the residents, they did not believe the promises and organized the collection of signatures under appeals to the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev and Russian President Vladimir Putin with the demand to understand the situation.
