Six traffic police inspectors of the Moscow region were fired after a fight in a bar in Pavlovsky Posad, according to the website of the Moscow Region Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On the night of July 21, in the Muscat bar, traffic police officers beat 34-year-old local resident Evgeniy Tolstov, who worked as a manager in a company selling construction materials, wrote Moskovsky Komsomolets . Tolstov was sitting in a bar with friends; at the next table there were traffic police officers.

According to the newspaper, one of Tolstov’s friends broke a glass from the traffic police officer’s table. The man paid for it, but dissatisfied law enforcement officers called the man outside to “talk.”

Six inspectors and Tolstov and his friends went out into the street, where at first there was a conversation in a raised voice, and then a fight broke out. As MK writes, while defending his friend, Tolstov attacked one of the inspectors. He was hit back and fell and hit his head on the curb.

After the fight, three people were hospitalized - two policemen and Tolstov. One of the inspectors ended up in the hospital with a concussion and head bruises, and the other was in a coma. Tolstov suffered a fracture of the base of the skull, numerous bruises and fell into a coma. 10 days later he died.

The Investigative Committee opened a case under Article 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm).
