In Chelyabinsk, a volunteer of Navalny’s headquarters had his fine canceled for participating in the rally on May 5

The Chelyabinsk Regional Court overturned a fine of 5,000 rubles to Navalny’s local headquarters volunteer Iskander Tagaev for participating in the “He is not our Tsar” campaign. The international human rights group Agora reported this to OVD-Info with reference to lawyer Andrei Lepekhin.

The court decided to dismiss the case for lack of evidence.

On June 28, the Central District Court of Chelyabinsk found Iskander Tagaev guilty under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of the procedure for holding an event) due to participation in the rally on May 5, which took place in the Aloe Pole park.

• Iskander Tagaev, during his arrest at the “He is not our king” rally, was thrown onto the lawn, dragged along it, and then hit in the chest and tailbone. Later, the police came to his home, but he was not there. Law enforcement officers asked if there were weapons in the apartment.
• The Supreme Court of Bashkortostan overturned a fine of 15 thousand rubles to Navalny’s local headquarters volunteer Alexandra Maslova for participating in the May 5 rally. The court of first instance considered Maslova's case without notifying her.
• According to OVD-Info, on the day of the “He is not our Tsar” protests, police detained about 1,600 people in 27 Russian cities. Some were released without reports, others were left in the police department for two nights.
