The Russian synchronizer Svetlana Kolesnichenko won a gold medal in the technical program of soloists at the European Championship in Water Sports in Glasgow. 24-year-old Russian woman scored 93,4816 points.

The second place in the technical program of Solo was taken by Ukrainian Elizabeth Yakhno (91,3517), the third was the Italian Linda Cherruti (90.2282).

Kolesnichenko became a six -time European champion. She is also an Olympic champion and a 13-time world champion.

Later, the Russian team won gold in the technical program in group competitions. The team was Anastasia Arkhipovskaya, Anastasia and Daria Bayandina, Marina Golyadkina, Mikhala Kalancha, Veronika Kalinina, Polina Komar and Maria Shurochkin.

Russian athletes showed the result of 94.6000 points. The second place was taken by the Ukrainian team (90.7439), the third were Italian (90.3553).
