On August 7, at 12:00 in the Soviet district court of Bryansk, hearings will begin on the extension of the arrest of Politzek Denis Baholdin.
In June, the Bakholdin case was returned to the prosecutor's office. Hearing on the merits should begin in the fall in the Nagatinsky District Court of Moscow.
The 36-year-old Baholdin was charged with part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist organization), which provides from 2 to 6 years of the colony. According to the plot of the case, the activist from July 4 to 12, 2015 fought in the ATO zone in the Donbass as part of the 5th separate battalion of the Right Sector Volunteer Corps. It is known that just on July 12 this unit left the zone of military operations.
Among the evidence in the case there are materials with a flash drive seized from Politzek. This, in particular, is his photo in camouflage against the backdrop of a Ukrainian flag with an object resembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as a certain "guide on action in the field of a sniper."
In the first half of the 2010s, the Muscovite Bakholdin participated in a number of anti-Putin actions. At the end of 2014, he emigrated to Ukraine.
In March 2017, Bakholdin was detained in the border village in Bryansk, when he illegally entered Russia to visit his parents. After the detention, the FSB investigators beat the activist, and also chained the battery for 12 hours, demanding to confess to the “right sector”. In the media, information about the arrest of Bakholdin appeared only on June 19. Investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Alexander Shpakov and Sergey Gutor did business. The arrested did not give any evidence and did not sign any documents.
