The arrest of Bakholdin was extended until August 29

The judge of the Soviet district court of Bryansk Oksana Khokhlova extended to the opposition Denis Baholdin, who is charged with participation in the ATO as a volunteer of the Right Sector, the term of detention in the pre -trial detention center is one and a half week - until August 29 inclusive. Initially, the consideration of the petition, submitted by the investigator of the regional headquarters of the KNO Konysh, was scheduled for August 2, but then Khokhlova postponed a meeting on the written fact of the written request of the lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina, who indicated that she was not properly notified of the hearings.

This time the lawyer arrived in court. The prosecutor's office at the meeting was represented by an official D. Lugovoi.

The investigator Konysh explained the application for the extension of the arrest for such a short time by the fact that the investigation was already completed and the case was ready to send to the prosecutor's office to approve the indictment.

The lawyer of Sidorkin, however, considers it likely that before the process of starting the process to further extend the Politzeck of the arrest, the prosecutor’s office will act for another 24 days.

The first time Bakholdin's case was sent to court at the end of last year. The proceedings were entrusted to the Suzemsky district court of the Bryansk region, but Judge Natalya Shpirko on December 22 handed over materials to Moscow , at the place of registration of Politzek. However, on April 20 of this year, the judge of the Nagatinsky district court of the capital Larisa Krutovskaya returned the case to the prosecutor’s office , pointing out errors in the indictment.

Baholdin is 36 years old. In the first half of the 2010s, he participated in a number of anti-Putin's actions in Moscow. At the end of 2014, he emigrated to Ukraine.

In March 2017, the opposition was detained in the border village in the Bryansk region, when he illegally entered Russia to visit his parents. Part 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization) Politzeka threatens from 2 to 6 years in a colony. According to the plot of the case, Bakholdin from July 4 to 12, 2015 fought in the ATO zone in the Donbass as part of the 5th separate battalion of the Right Sector Volunteer Corps. It is known that just on July 12 this unit left the zone of military operations.

Among the evidence in the case there are materials with a flash drive seized from Politzek. This, in particular, is his photo in camouflage against the backdrop of a Ukrainian flag with an object resembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as a certain "guide on action in the field of a sniper."

Prior to the first sending the case to the court, the investigation was first conducted by an official of the 1st department for the investigation of the particularly important cases of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Senior Lieutenant of Justice Sergey Gutorov, and then the head of this department, Alexander Shpakov. Baholdin did not give any evidence and did not sign any documents.
