A psychiatric examination, which was carried out as part of the case of inciting hatred or enmity, recognized 35-year-old Andrei Bezborodov as insane. This is reported by Dozhd with reference to the lawyer of the human rights group Agora Vladimir Vasin, who defends Bezborodov.
According to the lawyer, Bezborodov worked as a security guard and he had a permit to carry a weapon, which requires a psychiatric examination.
Bezborodov told the publication that he added pictures to the Saved folder. Some of the images were devoted to the fact that "Russian girls meet non-Russians", and the folder also contained photographs of Vladimir Putin, Patriarch Alexy II and Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar with a joke about the Trinity. The suspect intends to appeal against the certificate of insanity.
The case against Bezborodov because of the eight pictures on Vkontakte was initiated on February 16 by the Department of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The decision to initiate proceedings states that the posted pictures contain signs of inciting hatred and enmity (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) “on the grounds of gender, race, nationality, language, origin, attitude to religion, belonging to any social group, namely: representatives of the Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Central Asia, Jews, girls who have relations with representatives of the Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Central Asia.
